Congratulations, you’re on the right track! Many surfers believe that when they can surf along the wall of the wave, going up and down it a bit, that they are pretty good surfers, and that the only way forward is to spend as much time as possible surfing.

But experience shows that this is a common misconception. Of course it is very important to practice often, but without methods based on the Science of Sport, without any qualified analysis of your movements and without individual counselling for your techniques and tactics.
