The surf school is based in the village of Gerra, that Google Maps by mistake named "Guerra" (see the blue flag on the right and the bottom photo on the right hand side of this page).

For the surf lessons we normally meet at a small parking area above the beach in the village of "Rupuente"(see the blue flag on the left and the photos below).

How to arrive?

Arrive to Cantabria by car, motorbike, ferry or airplane. Detailed information on how to arrive will be sent with your booking confirmation.

You can get to Santander by ferry from Portsmouth and Plymouth. Please find more information at Brittany Ferries.

Ryanair offers low-priced flights from London-Stansted, Dublin, Brussels (Charleroi), Düsseldorf (Weetze), Frankfurt-Hahn, Milan-Bergamo, Pisa, Roma, Reus (Barcelona), Alicante, Malaga and Madrid to Santander.

To get from Santander Airport to the bus terminal in the center of Santander you can take the airport shuttle or a taxi. From there you go to San Vicente de la Barquera by bus. Please find the current bus timtable on the website of the bus company ALSA.

If you prefer, of course you could also hire a car. At Santander Airport you will find the following car rental companies:
