situated in "cantabria" at the nothern spanish atlantic coast about 60 km in the west of "santander". the surf lessons take place in the "natural park of oyambre". beautiful beaches with fantastic waves fill the hearts of the surfers with enthusiasm. here you are sitting at the line up · waiting for your next wave · and you are enjoying the view at the "picos de europa" at a distance of 30 km. some of the last european wolves and bears live in these wild romantic mountains. it's also possible to make snowboard and ski in the "picos" from november to march. in the rest of the year you can enjoy walking, climbing, mountainbike, riding, archery, rafting, hydrospeed and kayak.

at the coast your are invited by the beautiful medieval villages "comillas" and "santillana del mar" to walk through times long ago, to enjoy fish, seafood and the famous wine "rioja" or to a party in spanish nights. nearby there are some caves with amazing stone age painting. for example "altamira" next to "santillana del mar", "monte castillo" in "puente viesgo" and "pindal" next to "unquera".

there are no big hotels and ugly buildings. but there are hotels, apartments, rooms and campings. for july, august, easter and the week before it's better to book your lodging early because many people here make it already at christmas. in the rest of the year normally it's possible to find it on the spot.
